Sri Wintala Achmad Biography

I have studied at Gajah Mada University, Yogyakarta. My works are poetry, short story,
art and culture essay,performance art and instalation art. My works of literature are
published in Surabaya Pos, Yogya Pos, Kedaulatan Rakyat, Minggu Pagi, Bernas,
Kuntum, Masa Kini, Solo Pos, Pos Kita, Trans Sumatra, Bhakti, Jaya Baya,
Mekar Sari, Djaka Lodang, Pagagan, Media, Siber Sastra Indonesia dan
Australia indonesia Arts Alliance.

My antology: Pelangi (1988); Nirmana(1990); Alim Lam Mim (1992); Zamarud katulistiwa
(1997); Sastra Kepulauan (1999); Embun Tajjali (2000) and Lirik lereng Merapi.

My manuscript of poems is A Cup of Coffee A Cup of Poetry. As the best artistic in the
Yogyakarta Theatre Festival (1999). As one of editors the poetry antology "Embun Tajjali'
(2000). My name of poet is writen by Pamusuk Emeste (Kompas Publisher, 2001).
Directory of Javaness Culture and Literature (Javaness Congress III in Yogyakarta, 2001).

My plastic arts have been exhibited in "Of Men And Violence I (Yogyakarta, 1999);
Of Men And violence II (Solo, 1999); Peloeit 2000 (Yogyakarta, 2000), Variety in Unity
(Yogyakarta, 2000), Estetic Pilgrimic (Yogyakarta, 2000), 2-meteran
(Yogyakarta, 2001), Song from the Merapi's Foot (Surabaya, 2001), Magelang
Cultural Event (Magelang, 2001) and so on.. As member of Himpunan
Sastrawan Muda Indonesia and (Sanggar Sastra Jawa yogyakarta). As one leader
Puser pubi and Protelon and Puser Bumi. Then as leader of LP2SJ
(Lembaga Pelestarian dan Pengembangan Sastra dan Budaya Jawa. I was born in
Selaman, january 29th. 1964.
