This useful website from the Australian Government Department of "Communications, Information Technology and the Arts" is a large resource of information about the Australian cultural scene.
It includes information about Grants, venues, events and organisations.
The search engine allows you to search the site itself and also the sites it is linked too.
The Engine can be a little slow, but give it a chance as this site is full of useful information. (almost 1.5 million documents)
If you want your site listed go to the sitemap link in the top right of the site.
